Brow Lamination

Glowing Skin

All about it

Straight hairs that appear as if they were just brushed up with a spoolie and set with gel. The difference is, laminated brows keep their shape for around 25 days on end. The process helps the eyebrow hair stay in place and helps unruly brows hold their shape. The treatment can sometimes be paired with a brow tint to give you the look of bushy brows

Though you might be able to stretch that number higher if you’re lucky and smart with your beauty routine; this means no steam, sweat, makeup, or skin care products on the brow area for 24 hours, or retinol and exfoliators for 72 hours. Beyond that, incorporating a water based moisturizer into your aftercare routine will help keep the hairs nourished and healthy before your next appointment.

How it works?

The process is done using a gentle perm solution, neutralizing lotion, and moisturizing treatment to temporarily relax and redirect your brow hairs upwards and into place.Use a clean spoolie brush to gently brush your eyebrows in the desired direction daily. This helps to maintain the shape and keep the hairs in place.

Depending on the sensitivity of your skin, some people may experience some redness, swelling or itching after getting a brow lamination.

Aftercare

When it comes to aftercare for eyebrow lamination, there are a few things to be mindful of. Nourishing oils are not the best option to soothe skin.

- Oils tend to strip the wax from the chemical applied to the brows, so applying products water-based instead is much better to nourish.
- For the first 24-48 hours after the lamination procedure, avoid getting your eyebrows wet. This includes avoiding activities like washing your face, swimming, or heavy sweating.

- Refrain from applying makeup or skincare products directly on your eyebrows for at least 24 hours post-lamination. This allows the products used during the procedure to settle and work effectively.

- Avoid using harsh skincare products or exfoliants directly on your eyebrows, as they can strip away the lamination and irritate the skin.

- Direct sunlight and UV exposure can weaken the lamination effect. Consider using a hat when outdoors for extended periods.
